Barbour's story began in 1894 in Market Place, South Shields, in North East England. For over 130 years, this fifth-generation family-owned company has maintained its headquarters in the North East. Barbour's headquarters, located in Simonside, South Shields, also houses the factory where the brand's most iconic waxed models, the Bedale and the Beaufort, are still handcrafted today.
